    Brookfield Wealth Solutions set up one P&C operating group. It holds the property and casualty arms of American National. It holds those of Argo Group too.

  2. Leaving homeowners in all states

    American National said it would exit the homeowners line in all remaining states. It would do this in stages through the end of 2024. It had started with nine states in February.

  3. American National to leave the home market in nine states

    Insurance Journal and AM Best said American National is leaving the home market in nine states. Two of them are Louisiana and California. It is not confirmed if Florida is one of the nine.
